A website & blog for residents (and neighbours) of Dalston Square

Live!

Hello everyone. Finally this website/blog is live on the net. The ‘Calendar’ and ‘Local Services’ pages are still rather empty but I will be updating them as the info comes in. Which is where you all can help: If you have a Residents Association related date to add to the calendar (a meeting or social event), or know of a good doctor, dentist, plumber, chemist, or any other service we can add to the ‘Services’ list, please let me know (via the Forum is best).

Good to see a local website for the Dalston Square Residents. Thank you for setting this up/
I hope people use it. As a residents in phase 1 buildings for two years. I have been concerned that I live in a large building and son’t feel I know many people. Hopefully the RA will put on more social events/
I am currently concerned that I have been asked to pay several hundred £££s for a retrospective Consort error in calculating my service chages in 2010-2011. This has happened in addition to the charges going up dramatically in 2011-2012.
How do other residents think about this mess?

    • Hi Joan. I will soon be posting an update message from Ben, the RA Chairperson, which will be mentioning the recent retrospective bill from Consort. Keep an eye out for the posting or, better yet, sign up to follow this blog by email and you will receive the post direct to your mailbox. ;o)

Well done for the website! It’s great. I hope too that more people will get involved. Re: the service charge – we are also fed up, have complained and are now withholding the increase…we need a united approach. Thankfully there seem to be some very ‘on it’ people on the DSRA
