Dalston Square’s Resident Artist
Hello again. Just a quick plug for the Square’s very own resident artist.
Alex Blum has recently completed some paintings of the London Skyline from the 9th floor roof terrace of Gaumont Tower, and is having an open studio exhibition of her work at the Chocolate Factory, just up Kingsland High Street towards Stoke Newington.
Here is her publicity poster, and a sample of her artwork (click on them to see a bigger image). The exhibition will be open on Saturday 30th June and Sunday 1st July, between 11am and 6pm. If you have the chance, please pop in and show your support. Who knows, maybe you will find something to hang in that blank spot on your apartment wall. 😉
